Job Title: Unified Communications Engineer (Microsoft Exchange / Teams Voice)
Location: Renton, WA onsite
Pay Rate: $120-150K
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Unified Communications Engineer for a global heavy-duty manufacturing enterprise, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in Microsoft Exchange, Teams, and Cisco voice integration looking to further their career in enterprise collaboration engineering.
• Support and maintain on-prem/hybrid MS Exchange, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and MS Teams environments
• Support Cisco voice to MS Teams voice integrations
• Develop and deploy new technology strategies
• Develop and maintain UC architecture, standards, procedures, and documentation
• Perform system upgrades, patching, version management, and security updates
• Monitor capacity and system performance for tuning or upgrades
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation; up to 10% domestic and international travel
• Provide technical support to users at all organizational levels
Essential Qualifications
• 5+ years designing, administering, and troubleshooting Exchange Online and hybrid/on-prem Exchange
• Expertise with Unified Communications architecture, standards, processes, procedures, work instructions, and related documentation
• Experience supporting Teams, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 in a large enterprise
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Experience configuring and managing email security devices and SaaS solutions
• Microsoft product deployment with high availability and disaster recovery
• Project management track record; strong communication and organization
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
Bonus Qualifications
• Windows Server, VMware ESXi, Azure, and Microsoft Purview experience
• Voice services and Cisco/MS Teams integration experience
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate, or Teams Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
