DIRECTOR OF QUALITY ENGINEERING - Clearing House / Securities Background
Looking for a candidate who comes form a clearing house or securities background. If you don t you need to come from a financial company and be very familiar with the industry. This is about cloud modernization, automation, cucumber, selenium, etc.
SALARY: $170k - $220K plus 25% bonus
You will lead functional and integration testing, automation, governance. Functional integration and data validation needs. You will drive automation with cucumber based automation. Directs 1 or more teams 5-20 people.
Responsibilities:
Lead system integration testing (SIT) and regression testing across multiple applications, ensuring optimal test coverage. Drive automation-first approach using Cucumber based automation framework for UI, API, batch and Kafka layers. Establish and scale test data strategy, including synthetic test data approaches. Lead Creation of test data, detailed test cases for validating business functions and regression testing.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of a development lifecycle and Quality Engineering under Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies
- Ability to manage small- and large-scale projects and ensuring team efficiency
- Broad-based knowledge of Lifecyle development, change control management, test planning, test and defect management
- Experience with AWS cloud deployments and microservices and event driven applications Technical Skills
- Familiarity with BDD and TDD concepts as it relates to test automation
- SDLC and testing tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Cucumber, SpiraTest
- Relational databases and query tools. (SQL Server, Oracle and DB2)

- Prior management experience of small to medium sized teams (5-20) with a track record of success
