S/4 HANA Controlling and Product Costing -Remote

We are seeking a S/4 HANA Controlling and Product Costing professional to support our client. Although a remote opportunity, this position will require (1) a mandatory onsite/F2F interview and (2) onsite at a nearby office location for day one of employment only.

Responsibilities Include:

Lead functional design and validation for Product Costing, Sales Order Costing, and Cost Accounting & Control in S/4 HANA
Support sales order costing / cost by sales order scenarios, including make-to-order, sales-order stock, configurable materials, and PC02 logic
Configure and validate costing variants, valuation variants, costing types, quantity structure control, transfer control, and cross-company costing
Support Material Ledger and Actual Costing activities, including CKMLCP runs, PUP analysis, actual activity price calculation, and CO period close
Analyze costing variances and reporting outputs; partner with RTR, OTC, PTD, and operations teams to resolve master data, valuation, pricing, or configuration issues

Required Skills

7-10 years of experience in S/4 HANA Controlling and Product Costing, including costing variants and cost component structure
Hands-on expertise in Sales Order Costing / Cost by Sales Order, including make-to-order and configurable materials
Solid knowledge of Material Ledger, Actual Costing, PUP, CO period close, and product-costing reporting
Experience with overhead cost accounting, activity rates, cost center planning, allocations, and variance analysis. Experience supporting testing, issue resolution, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
