Network Engineer

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to support and optimize a large-scale  network infrastructure.

This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing a complex network environment across multiple locations. You’ll serve as a key technical resource for network operations, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across critical systems. This is a fully onsite role based in Blythewood, SC, with travel to field offices as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Configure, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki).
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues impacting connectivity and uptime.
• Troubleshoot complex network, firewall, and VPN issues across a statewide environment.
• Support network security initiatives and ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to maintain system integrity.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Support after-hours or weekend response for critical outages when required.

What You’ll Need

• Experience with Cisco networking (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security tools.
• Strong experience with network troubleshooting, routing, and switching.
• Experience working in complex, multi-site network environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
