Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Software Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Terraform to support infrastructure deployment, reliability, and developer enablement.
This hybrid role blends infrastructure engineering, DevOps, security, and developer tooling responsibilities. You will work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) using Terraform.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud environments.
- Build infrastructure-as-code (IaC) modules and reusable Terraform components.
- Implement security best practices across computer, networking, storage, and IAM layers.
- Monitor system alerts and logs; troubleshoot production issues and code-level problems.
- Enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of production services.
- Develop automation and tooling to improve developer productivity and CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product teams, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.
