Business Analyst (Hybrid)

Travel Comments:

• This position may involve commuting between SOM offices located in the greater-Lansing area and possibly statewide for short periods of time and will require reliable personal transportation. Neither Knowledge Services or the State of Michigan will reimburse the candidate for mileage. Any mileage reimbursement provided to the candidate must be provided by the contracting company. Please confirm you have discussed this with your candidate, and he/she accepts this requirement.

Description

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and process modeling
• Experience in the estimation, planning and forecasting of projects.
• Experience in the documenting and gathering business, functional or technical requirements for software projects.
• Ability to organize and develop test plans and test cases working with business subject matter experts.
• Prior State government experience is a plus
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.
• Interview Process: In-person. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview.
• Duration: 1 year with possible extension
• Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week (Wednesdays are mandatory to be onsite. The other onsite day can be flexible).
• Local candidates only. Candidates must be local to Michigan at time of submission.
