Summary

The Contract Project Manager will lead delivery of fashion retail transformation initiatives across ERP, Point-of-Sale (POS), Business Intelligence (BI) and other projects. This role is accountable for execution rigor, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and delivery outcomes in a fast-paced retail environment. The position is hands-on, client-facing, and on-site in the Brooklyn, NY, working closely with business leaders, IT teams, system integrators, and offshore delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of ERP, POS, BI implementations, rollouts, and enhancements
Manage integrated plans across merchandising, stores, supply chain, eCommerce, finance, and IT
Align delivery timelines to fashion retail calendars, seasonal launches, and peak periods
Ensure delivery meets scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations

Serve as the primary day-to-day project owner at the client site
Lead Steering Committee, PMO, and executive status forums
Translate technical delivery status into business-impact-focused insights

Govern system integrators and vendors across ERP, POS, and BI
Review plans, cutovers, and rollout strategies to minimize store disruption

Own RAID management with proactive mitigation
Manage scope changes through formal change control processes
Drive timely decision-making to prevent delays or cost overruns

Oversee UAT, cutover planning, pilot stores, and phased/national rollouts
Ensure close coordination with Change Management for adoption and readiness

Required Experience & Qualifications

10+ years of experience delivering ERP, POS, and/or BI programs
Strong fashion or specialty retail transformation experience (highly preferred)
Experience with retail NetSuite ERP platform
Proven success managing onshore–offshore delivery models
Comfortable working on-site with CXOs, Merchandising, Retail Ops, and Finance leaders

Preferred Certifications

PMP / PRINCE2
Agile or SAFe certification
ERP platform certifications (nice to have)
