Technical Program Manager

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a contract position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Redmond, WA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

The main function of this role is to provide successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies. The ideal candidate will manage New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, handling tasks from small operational assignments to full program ownership while coordinating across multiple technical programs and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget
• Provide program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, complex issue resolution, and team building
• Manage internal and matrixed teams to deliver systems and systems enhancements that meet specified requirements
• Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimating, project schedule development, and budget management
• Handle project status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, and customer interaction
• Own and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
• Communicate and coordinate across multiple technical programs and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or a related field
• Subsystem TPM experience
• Audio experience
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction, and implementation planning in large organizations
• Proven people management and team building skills
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
• Experience with the software development lifecycle

Desired skills:

• MBA or other related advanced degree
• PMP or PMI certification
• Experience in a large technology company

Pay range: up to $105.96 per hour
