Tax Software QA Tester

Job Title: QA Tester - Tax Software & Karate

Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: Direct Hire / FTE

Schedule: Hybrid (3x a week)



Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Karate for both UI and API test automation.
• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
• Perform thorough testing of tax software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to understand and clarify requirements, ensuring test coverage and quality standards are met.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements based on testing results and user feedback.
