Position: Foundry UI Architect (Palantir)

Location: New York, NY

Job Mode: Contract

Job Description:

• Total experience of 12-15 years in UI Architecture especially on React JS + at least 1-2 years of experience in Palantir Foundry.
• Strong experience with Palantir Engineering features such as, OSDK (Developer Console), Ontology Manager, Code Repo, Code Workbook.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Establish and enforce UI engineering security standards, including linting configurations (e.g., using eslint-plugin-react-security) and folder structures that minimize vulnerabilities.
• Design and implementation of authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) flows, leveraging industry standards like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Strong working practice with code versioning tools, such as Git"
