About the Role

Seeking an experienced Golang Developer with hands-on experience building AI-enabled backend applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Go development, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI capabilities into production systems. You will work alongside software engineers, AI/ML engineers, and product teams to develop scalable, high-performance platforms supporting Tesla''s manufacturing, automation, and enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go (Golang).
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for AI-driven applications.
• Integrate Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Gemini, or similar) into enterprise workflows.
• Develop AI-powered automation services, intelligent assistants, and workflow orchestration platforms.
• Optimize backend systems for high throughput, low latency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deploy machine learning models into production.
• Design and implement distributed systems capable of handling large-scale workloads.
• Work with vector databases and semantic search technologies for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Build secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for AI services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications using Go (Golang).
• Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with concurrent programming, goroutines, and channels.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture.
