Role: AWS Cloud Engineer / Architect

Location: NYC, NY | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)

Contract role

 

We are looking to hire an AWS Cloud Engineer on contract for a client engagement with NYU. The role is hybrid, 2 days a week in NYC.

 

Requirement:

  • Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing automation platforms, and driving end-to-end release automation across DevOps environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
  • Good knowledge of AWS security services, IAM, and implementing security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience implementing security controls, monitoring and responding to security threats, and maintaining compliance with data privacy and industry security standards.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
