Summary

Qualifications:
Required Education Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MS or equivalent) that is relevant to the requirements of the position.
Required Experience and Skills:
• Some work experience in Medical Information and/or Medical/Scientific Review of promotional materials in the biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial methodology, statistical concepts, and evaluation and interpretation of complex scientific literature.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• Some knowledge and therapeutic area experience in Oncology
Preferred Experience and Skills:
• 2 years of medical information or medical/scientific review or relevant biotech/pharmaceutical experience
• Deep experience working in Medical Information and/or prior biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge and therapeutic area experience in Oncology.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and systems for Medical Information and Promotional Review.
• Negotiation skills for interaction with cross-functional teams.
Note:
• Hybrid Position is in Upper Gwynedd, PA- requires 3 days in the office
Responsibilities:
The Global Medical Information (GMI) Senior Specialist is an entry-level headquarters-based role within Global Medical & Scientific Affairs, who is responsible for US and global core functions of the GMI group:
1. Medical Information, which includes handling of all US healthcare professional (HCP) inquiries and escalated complex global HCP inquiries as well as generating insights and analysis.
2. Medical Review of promotional and non-promotional scientific materials.
3. Compendia and Pathways Submissions. The responsibilities and activities of the Senior Specialist are focused on the US and global core functions of GMI with guidance from senior GMI colleagues.
