Job Title: Data Architect Location: Philadelphia, PA

Role Overview

We are seeking a Hands-On Data Architect to design and implement scalable AWS-based Big Data and Data Warehouse solutions supporting Comcast’s Advertising and Demand Generation (Sales & Marketing) data platform.

The role requires strong experience in AWS, Databricks (Spark), Snowflake, and Dimensional Data Modeling. The candidate must be technically strong and able to work closely with product, data engineering, and business teams in a SAFe Agileenvironment.

Key Responsibilities

Design scalable data lake and data warehouse architectures
Develop dimensional data models (star schema, fact/dimension design)
Build and optimize data pipelines using Spark
Work on AWS data services (S3, EMR, EC2, Redshift, Athena)
Implement metadata, governance, and data quality solutions
Support CI/CD processes and documentation
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams

Required Skills

Strong experience in AWS Data Architecture
Hands-on expertise in Apache Spark (Spark SQL, DataFrames)
Experience with Databricks
Strong Dimensional Modeling skills
Experience with Snowflake
Advanced SQL
Java and/or Python experience
Hadoop ecosystem knowledge
Experience with Git (Bitbucket) and Jenkins
Strong Linux fundamentals

Preferred

Experience in Advertising / Sales / Marketing data
Knowledge of MDM, Data Governance, BI
Streaming experience (Kafka/Kinesis)
