Senior Data Engineer - 3688089

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Data Engineer position! This is a direct placement opportunity and will be remote in United States with a preference for someone to work hybrid in Buffalo, NY or Orlando, FL.

No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and develop enterprise-wide data architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategies
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across the organization
• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines, warehouses, lakehouses, and integration frameworks using modern cloud technologies
• Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge data technologies, cloud platforms, and tools to enhance organizational capabilities
• Partner with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure cohesive and integrated system design
• Collaborate with governance and security teams to define metadata practices, data lineage tracking, and master data management
• Implement robust data quality measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, availability, and privacy across all data assets
• Translate business requirements into technical designs by working closely with business leaders, analysts, and engineering teams
• Provide solution design oversight and technical leadership throughout development, testing, and deployment phases
• Optimize database performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud and on-premises environments

What You'll Need to Have:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, application integration, or database design with proven development background
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET development and cloud-native architecture (Azure strongly preferred)
• Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies with demonstrated performance optimization capabilities
• Proven experience designing application integration solutions including ETL, API patterns, streaming, and event-driven architectures
• Solid understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures such as Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, or BigQuery
• Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality best practices
• Familiarity with real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Event Hubs
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across global, cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field

Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000
