Google Gemini / Google Cloud AI Specialist
Location: Remote or Austin, TX
Duration: 6+ Months (Potential Extension)
Job Summary: The Google Gemini / Google Cloud AI Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert supporting generative AI initiatives using Google Gemini and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). This role will advise stakeholders on AI use cases, support solution design and enablement, and assist with the adoption of secure, scalable AI solutions in an enterprise and public sector environment.
Experience / Responsibilities:
Serve as SME for Google Gemini and generative AI capabilities Advise on Gemini use cases including productivity, automation, and AI assisted workflows
Design and support AI architectures using Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, and APIs Support AI pilots, proofs of concept, and enablement initiatives
Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure alignment with security, governance, and compliance requirements
Provide documentation, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer Participate in onsite meetings and working sessions in Austin, TX
Required Experience: 5+ years experience in cloud, AI/ML, data, or advanced analytics roles Hands on experience with Google Gemini (Gemini for Workspace, Gemini API, or Gemini in Vertex AI)
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with generative AI models, prompt engineering, and AI enabled workflows
Strong verbal, written, and communication skills Ability and willingness to work onsite in Austin, TX
Preferred Education and Experience:
Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or ML Engineer) Experience with Vertex AI and/or MLOps pipelines
Familiarity with multiple LLM platforms (e.g., Gemini, Claude, OpenAI)
Experience supporting state or government clients Knowledge of data governance, AI ethics, or compliance standards
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
