Software Engineer to join a highly talented team within the
RF Systems Portfolio in Huntsville, AL. This portfolio supports radar design, hardware builds, algorithm development, software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, and weapons system analysis across a diverse range of research, development, and operational programs.
Primary ResponsibilitiesIn this role, assignments may focus on one or more of the following areas:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software using Agile methodologies.
- Develop tactical software for Leidos Dynetics radar systems.
- Create modeling, simulation, and analysis toolsets supporting:
- Algorithm development
- Requirements development
- System testing
- Prototype radar system development
- Test, analyze, and debug complex software systems across multiple architectures and operating systems.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting advanced RF and radar technologies.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA or higher plus 4-8 years' experience in software development or engineering.
- Strong understanding of:
- Object-oriented design
- Data structures
- Network communications
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment.
- Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville-North Alabama region.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with:
- Familiarity with radar systems is a plus.

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
