Overview
· Our client is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to play a pivotal role driving digital product initiatives across multiple cross-functional teams. This opportunity allows you to take true ownership in a high-impact environment, translating strategic goals into actionable business and system requirements within modern digital workflows. You will perform core business analysis duties, navigate complex product landscapes, and champion best practices within an agile framework to ensure seamless product delivery.
Responsibilities
· Drive end-to-end business analysis activities across two distinct digital product teams, taking complete ownership of feature delivery and requirement lifecycles.
· Gather, elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and system specifications.
· Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement walkthroughs within a SAFe Agile environment.
· Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, testers, and key stakeholders to align technical capabilities with business objectives.
· Manage requirements, tracking, and sprint workflows utilizing Jira.
· Learn new domain areas rapidly and work independently to solve problems and drive deliverables to completion.
Required Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, or a related field (or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree).
· Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing, or other analytical roles.
· Advanced proficiency in Jira for issue tracking, story authoring, and agile project management.
· Strong, hands-on working knowledge of SAFe Agile methodologies and frameworks.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
· High degree of autonomy, proactiveness, and self-direction with the ability to ramp up quickly in complex environments.
Preferred Skills & Experience
· Prior experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry.
· Hands-on proficiency with Aha! roadmapping software.
· Technical background or exposure to cloud technologies and cloud migration projects.
