Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Financial Analyst for a Remote position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Kirkland, WA. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key team member of a finance cross-team within the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization. This position is responsible for core FP&A deliverables and projects, striving to make the finance department more efficient while delivering high-quality, critical planning work. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded knowledge of core FP&A concepts and experience building cross-functional relationships.
Responsibilities: - Lead cross-team ownership for a key vertical within the finance department, empowering the team to achieve their goals
- Spearhead the development and implementation of standardized processes across the cross team, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency
- Lead close and forecast cycles, including defining timelines, templates, and processes, and the preparation of flux commentary and forecasts
- Help execute the annual budget process, partnering with vertical FP&A teams to allocate resources and inform key business decisions
- Drive key systems efforts across the finance department
- Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships with vertical FP&A teams, consolidations teams, Corporate FP&A, and other cross-functional teams including Accounting and Enterprise Engineering
- Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in a finance field
- Experience with FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Proficiency with Tableau and other financial software
Desired skills: - Advanced Excel experience
- Experience with AI tools
- Previous experience at a large technology company
Pay range: up to $61.87 per hour
