Summary

We are looking for a Vulnerability Management Systems Analyst to join a statewide initiative and help mature an enterprise vulnerability management program. If you are passionate about risk reduction, systems security, and working in a high-impact environment, we want to hear from you!

Location: 4430 Broad River Rd, Columbia, SC

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote options available; however, strong preference is given to local candidates who can work on-site/hybrid.

Interview Process

Round 1: Virtual/Video interview via Microsoft Teams.
Round 2: Potential for an in-person interview prior to final selection.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and configure vulnerability management platforms (Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7).
Analyze vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.
Document residual risks and develop POA&Ms to track progress.
Provide guidance and training to agency stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Platform Expertise: 5+ years with tools like Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
System Knowledge: 5+ years managing Windows and Linux environments.
Risk Management: Strong understanding of CVSS ratings, POA&M tracking, and mitigation strategies.
Preferred Tech: Scripting/Automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with NIST, PCI DSS, or MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISO, or equivalent (highly desired).
