Your Mission

Are you passionate about helping industrial customers improve safety while driving business growth? As the Mid-West Regional Sales Manager, you will lead the expansion of Newson Gale electrostatic protection business across North America. By developing strategic customer relationships, strengthening distribution channels, and serving as a trusted technical advisor, you will play a key role in growing market share and protecting industrial operations from electrostatic hazards.

Candidate should have a technical understanding of how manufacturing processes in combustible liquids and vapors, powder and bulk solids-handling industries work, and a functional understanding of the primary process equipment in these industries. In addition, candidates should have experience with the application of industrial fire protection or life safety equipment in the manufacturing industries.

This position covers the Mid-West Region. Successful candidates should currently reside in either the Chicago or Indianapolis areas. Position requires 60% travel. Travel will also include participating in local and national trade shows, as well as international travel for training. Must also have 5+ years regional industrial sales experience in the territory.

How you will make a difference

  • Drive Regional Growth: Expand sales through end users, OEMs, engineering firms, system integrators, and channel partners.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships with customers, distributors, and industry influencers.
  • Provide Technical Expertise on electrostatic hazard protection solutions.
  • Develop Sales Channels through coaching and training distributors and representatives.
  • Identify New Opportunities through market intelligence and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deliver Business Results by meeting revenue and profitability targets.


What you should be good at

  • Five years\' experience business development experience in technical product sales in Fire and Life Safety preferred or in a similar industry. Selling experience in manufacturing process equipment will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting technical and sales presentations to end users, distributors, and representatives as well as other influencers.
  • Distribution/channel territory development and management experience a plus.
  • Understanding of manufacturing process equipment
  • Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering preferred; bachelor\'s degree in business or marketing will be considered with equivalent experience in manufacturing process equipment technical sales or a related fire protection discipline and equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Able/willing to travel 60% of time by air and auto. Valid Driver License required.

  • Competitive Pay: Starting Base Pay for position $90,000 to $100,000 based upon experience.
