Job Description:
The primary focus is on SQL Server rather than Excel. Specifically, the role requires proficiency in managing data within a SQL Server environment that is integrated with Microsoft Access.
The key responsibilities include:
Database Connectivity: Ensuring seamless data flow between SQL Server and the Access front-end.
Form Development: Creating and maintaining intuitive user forms within Access (forms and reports).
Data Management: Enabling end-users to efficiently enter, retrieve, and verify SQL Server data through the Access interface
Job Description:
Requested Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science).This is not necessary. Bachelors required in any field.
- 5+ years in BI reporting and dashboard development.
- Advanced skills in:
o Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Visio, VBA)
o SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures)
o SSIS, SSRS, Power Apps
- Strong organizational, time management, and independent work capabilities.
- Experience with large data sets and data integration.
Building an app for new initiatives etc.
Speed up internal in case the roadmaps, working on the clients initiatives
Understand SQL and VBA and able to understand the code.
5 days a week onsite in San Antonio.
Data Analytics/Data Engineering
Role Overview:
- Deliver advanced analytics and business intelligence for Payment Services operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and data pipelines.
- Provide actionable insights through data mining and statistical analysis.
Key Activities / Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain operational, executive, and control dashboards.
- Monitor and report KPIs across various timeframes (daily to yearly).
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and streamline reporting processes.
- Create visualizations to support decision-making across departments.
- Build tools (forms, templates, macros) to capture operational data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into reporting solutions.
- Communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Integrate data from multiple sources using Power BI and related tools.
