As a Diesel Apprentice, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring cleanliness and friendliness in all interactions. You will engage with customers and drivers from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their travel experiences. If you have a knack for mechanics but lack professional experience, don t worry we are here to teach you!
What You Will Learn in the Apprentice Program:
- Electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs
- Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
- Air system diagnostics and repairs
- Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
- Charging system diagnostics and repairs
- Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
- Parts lookup and acquisition
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with roadside services.
- Learn and perform preventative maintenance services.
- Ability to lift and move over 75 pounds while working in confined spaces.
- Adapt to various temperature conditions while working.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts as required.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (cost covered by the organization).
