Senior Security Analyst

Summary:

Join a pioneering robotics company at the forefront of urban delivery innovation. As a Senior Security Analyst, you'll be instrumental in enhancing security measures within a dynamic, startup environment that's rapidly growing amidst the public sector and advancing robotics technology. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge monitoring and security analysis projects in a Google Cloud Platform environment, contributing to the safety and efficiency of autonomous delivery solutions.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a security analyst or engineer in operational security roles such as SOC or NOC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive experience with security tools and services within Google Cloud or AWS.
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud Security, Windows, Linux security.
  • Experience supporting enterprise EDR/XDR platforms, conducting log analysis, and building threat detection dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP).
  • Familiarity with secure authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML 2.0).
  • Cryptography key management knowledge.
  • Programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Java, PowerShell).
  • Experience supporting security incident response.
  • Ability to assess and implement controls to comply with frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST CSF.
  • Excellent time-management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a sense of ownership and urgency.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce technical security requirements in line with Serve's Cyber Security Program.
  • Harden and continuously assess infrastructure standards for Google Cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with IT Service and Product Engineering teams to maintain secure architecture.
  • Monitor and tune security tools to detect vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
  • Manage enterprise EDR platforms, develop detection rules, and automate response workflows.
  • Research emerging threats and develop appropriate controls.
  • Conduct security reviews and vulnerability assessments on cloud infrastructure and enterprise systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance detection, security orchestration, automation, and response capabilities.
  • Contribute to security awareness initiatives, including training, phishing simulations, and content development.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as a security subject matter expert.
