Head of Operations (Restaurant)

Job Summary

The Head of Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for a large portfolio of company-owned quick service restaurants (QSR). This role drives business performance, ensures operational excellence, and delivers strong financial results across 200+ fast food locations. The position requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in multi-unit restaurant management, full P&L ownership, and proven experience leading senior operations teams (including Directors of Operations). The VP will partner with executive leadership to execute growth strategies, optimize profitability, and maintain brand standards across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end operational leadership for 200+ company-owned QSR locations.
• Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with company growth goals.
• Drive operational excellence, consistency, and brand standards across all restaurants.
• Lead market expansion, new store openings, and performance turnaround initiatives.
• Directly manage and coach a team of 5+ Directors of Operations.
• Build strong leadership bench strength through succession planning and talent development.
• Establish performance goals, KPIs, and accountability structures across regions.
• Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture across the organization.
• Own full P&L responsibility for the restaurant portfolio.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Fast Food or Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) operations.
• 5+ years in Senior Leadership Roles (Preferred title will be Vice President. However, titles can be different).
• Proven experience of managing at least 5 Directors of Operations.
• Demonstrated oversight of 200+ Fast Food Restaurants (not a franchise).
• Experience in full financial management of these restaurants and managing P&L of these Restaurants is needed for this role
