The workThe SAP S/4HANA Architectural Runway Consultant develops and implements S/4HANA configurations across all the foundational S/4 modules to include, FICO, PSM, D&S, P2P, EVM, AM, CM and OM. This role works with key stakeholders to understand requirements, design business processes for financial planning, consolidation, and period-end closing, and provide S/4HANA Finance technology solutions. They will be responsible for complex business and system analysis, design, and testing.
Key responsibilities:- Ensure alignment with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) architecture and organizational fiscal goals
- Implement SAP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements for statutory reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, specifically focusing on the transition from legacy structures to the S/4HANA functions
- Use SAP Fiori for real-time financial insights and "soft close" capabilities
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks related to financial data migration and reconciliation of historical balances
- Ensure adherence to Accenture delivery methodology, promoting efficient and effective project delivery
- Communication between teams, ensuring critical integration points between B2R and other streams like Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) are seamless
- May mentor and develop team members, promoting skill growth in areas like Group Reporting, Embedded Analytics, and Central Finance (CFIN) where applicable
- Stay informed about SAP updates (such as SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning) and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in financial reporting
Here's what you need:- 2+ years of experience in SAP project management, demonstrating a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules
- Familiarity with SAP tools and technologies such as S/4HANA, BRFplus, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Hands-on experience in one of the following SAP modules: FICO, PSM, D&S, AM, QM, TM, EWM, P2P
Nice to have:- Knowledge of delivery methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile/Scrum)
- Experience leading large development teams through all phases of the SAP Activate methodology (Explore through Deploy)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field

- Must be eligible to obtain a government Secret Clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
