Job Description

We are hiring a 2nd Shift Electrical Technician to join a stable manufacturing team in Elgin, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting automated equipment and working in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Type

Direct Hire
Full-Time

Job Duties

Troubleshoot and repair automated production machinery
Diagnose and replace electrical and electronic components, including PLCs and sensors
Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, and control systems
Perform preventative maintenance on motors and electrical equipment
Support plant safety and quality objectives

Schedule

Monday Friday
Overtime as needed on Saturdays and occasional Sundays
Training on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:10 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:10 PM

Pay

$30.00 per hour or higher, based on experience

Requirements

Associate Degree in Electrical or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic
Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems
Strong troubleshooting skills for automated equipment
