Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Developer to support and enhance enterprise applications for a supply chain client. This role requires deep hands-on Java/J2EE expertise, strong application support experience, and proven background working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). The candidate will be responsible for development, production support, and troubleshooting complex integration issues across multiple systems.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong experience working in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain

• Hands-on Application / Production Support experience

• Availability to work in PST time zone

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Java/J2EE applications supporting supply chain operations

• Provide technical production support, including issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across multiple applications and platforms

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements and production stability

• Monitor application logs and system performance using enterprise monitoring tools

• Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and production releases

Required Technical Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application design and hands-on development

• Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA

• Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL preferred) and PL/SQL stored procedures

• Hands-on experience with JSP, JSF, XML, and enterprise Java frameworks

• Solid understanding of JEE design patterns, messaging, and real-time system integration

• Integration experience using SOAP and RESTful Web Services, SOA, and EJB

• Preferred experience working with IBM WebSphere application servers

• Strong experience with build and deployment tools such as Maven

• Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse, including debugging and productivity plug-ins

• Hands-on experience with log monitoring and observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or supply chain platforms

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in high-availability production environments

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams
