We are an aerospace manufacturer seeking a Quality Engineer I to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career engineer or quality professional to build expertise in aerospace manufacturing, AS9100 quality systems, First Article Inspection, PPAP, and continuous improvement while working alongside experienced engineering and operations leaders. Responsibilities

Support qualification and validation of aerospace manufacturing processes.
Lead AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and PPAP submissions.
Develop quality plans and maintain in-process and final inspection documentation.
Conduct Gage R&R, MSA, and correlation studies.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and customer quality requirements.
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and RCCA investigations.
Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Inspection teams to resolve quality concerns.
Support AS9100 compliance and internal and external audits.
Use SPC and data analysis to reduce scrap, rework, and variation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
3+ years of manufacturing, quality, or engineering experience.
Experience with AS9102 FAIR, PPAP, process validation, and First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
Experience with RCCA investigations and corrective action implementation.
Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Aerospace or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
Six Sigma Green Belt, CQE, DQR, or LCS certification preferred.
Experience with PC-DMIS, Mitutoyo, GOM, VBA, or Python preferred.
