Summary

Requirements
  • 8 or more years of experience in vulnerability management and baseline establishment.
  • Proficiency in NIST security standards and risk classification frameworks.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and security assessment platforms.
  • Experience in tracking remediation lifecycles and technical risk prioritization.
  • Experience with data analysis and security status reporting metrics.
  • Experience in validating technical remediation evidence and scan artifacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain consolidated vulnerability baselines across the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Categorize and prioritize vulnerabilities using NIST-aligned severity and exploitability metrics.
  • Coordinate technical remediation activities with system, server, and application owners.
  • Track remediation progress and identify technical blockers or architectural dependencies.
  • Validate remediation actions through automated vulnerability scan results and supporting artifacts.
  • Produce periodic technical status reports summarizing risk posture and remediation aging.
  • Identify systemic process gaps and provide recommendations for enhancing control effectiveness.
