Responsibilities
• Design and develop within defined projects/workstreams and work independently to outcomes.
• Build Python APIs using object oriented programming.
• Design distributed asynchronous systems that avoid data conflicts and operate across orchestrated environments.
• Collaborate with functional developers to define, develop, test and release features.
• Provide workarounds and bug fixes for urgent production issues and support CI/CD practices.
• Mentor junior staff and advise on functional/technical application issues.
Requirements
• Python OOP and API development.
• SQL and Oracle database technologies.
• Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS, GitHub and/or message broker technologies.
• Strong coding, testing, automation and problem solving.
• Distributed asynchronous systems and DevOps/CI/CD.
