Contract Project Manager Global Procurement (Remote, East Coast Hours)
Overview
For our direct client, a prestigious global firm, we seek a Project Manager to lead high-impact procurement and systems initiatives across a multinational environment. This role sits within a global procurement operations team and will drive end-to-end delivery of projects focused on process improvement, system implementation, and operational efficiency.
This is a highly visible role working cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, IT, and external partners. Long-term contract, initially 6 months, with likely extension beyond. Can be done remotely in the US, Eastern Time Zone hours.
What You ll Do
Lead end-to-end delivery of global procurement and systems projects
Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources across multiple initiatives
Partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT stakeholders to drive alignment and execution
Oversee vendor and implementation partners
Identify and implement process improvements across sourcing, contracting, and P2P workflows
Deliver executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes
Drive change management and user adoption for new systems and processes
What You Bring (Required Experience)
5 7 years of project management experience (global/multinational preferred)
Strong experience with procurement-related projects
Proven track record delivering system implementations (ERP, Source-to-Pay, etc.)
Experience with SAP, Coupa, or similar platforms
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple regions and functions
Strong communication and executive-facing presentation skills
Nice to Have
Experience in a professional services or global enterprise environment
Exposure to Agile, Lean, or change management frameworks
MBA or advanced degree
