About the Opportunity
· As an Engineer I - Data Analyst, you will support day-to-day reporting operations while contributing to ongoing modernization efforts through improved visibility, analytics, and strengthened quality controls. You will work hands-on with operational systems and data to coordinate key milestones, validate outputs, investigate anomalies, and ensure accurate, timely deliverables.
· In this role, you will support both internal stakeholders and external clients by enabling secure report delivery, driving timely issue resolution, and maintaining a high standard of service that protects the customer experience.
· You will also contribute to improving operational processes by identifying pain points and helping translate them into practical enhancements.
· This includes standardizing workflows, strengthening monitoring and validation checks, and implementing repeatable automations that reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and accelerate turnaround times.
In this role, you will:
Operational Ownership: Report Delivery (60%)
· Support end-to-end report delivery for a variety of stakeholders, ensuring outputs are accurate, secure, and delivered on time
· Maintain delivery calendars and integrated delivery plans, coordinating milestones, dependencies, and readiness checkpoints across cross-functional teams
· Monitor workflow health and proactively identify risks, escalating issues as needed and contributing to mitigation plans
· Validate data outputs and perform quality checks to ensure consistency and reliability of reporting deliverables
Analysis and Strategic Improvements (20%)
· Review business and technical requirements and provide input into data design, reporting logic, and process improvements
· Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement
· Research, experiment with, and adopt new tools, technologies, and approaches to improve automation, scalability, and efficiency
· Contribute to the development of more standardized, repeatable, and well-documented workflows
Support (20%)
· Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, identifying root causes and supporting resolution
· Fulfill ad hoc data requests and reporting needs for internal and external stakeholders
· Partner with team members to ensure consistent communication and timely support
You will have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
· 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or software/data-related roles (internships and academic projects count)
· Experience working with SQL and Python for data querying and analysis
· Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
· Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation or quality checks
· Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
· Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
· Exposure to version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
· Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
