CompQsoft is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals for Navy program.
Job Description:
The contractor shall supplement the ServiceNow Lead Developer or Developers, and provide configuration, administration, implementation, and optimization of all Flow Designer and workflow automation on the ServiceNow platform. The contractor shall assist the development team in the design, creation, and management of all App Engine workflows including, but not limited to, automating approvals, tasks, and notifications on the ServiceNow platform. The contractor shall configure workflows using Vendor best practices, and coordinate with Business Analyst and System Administrators on all platform changes as they relate to these workflows. At minimum the contractor shall be required to perform the following tasks: Provide support/assistance to the Lead Developer in the accomplishment of their tasks and deliverables.
Interpret business and system analysis, and user requirements, to create solutions within the ServiceNow environment.
Develop automated Quality Assurance testing. Where necessary, conduct manual testing to ensure that developed software or applications meet and comply with documented requirements.
Develop digitally signed, documented (to included embedded formats), regression tested, compiled code in builds with 24-hour advance software release notes IAW GFI 12.2.20-12.2.30.
Creation of interfacing (API) Navy solutions; support common interface solutions and languages such as JSON and JavaScript (ECMAScript5), utilizing ServiceNow s Platform API Solutions.
Accomplish deliverable installation, troubleshooting, and quality testing. Support will involve the utilization of established development tools, to include GitLab, MS Team Foundation Server, and ServiceNow s native development operations platforms.
Assist Lead developer with integration into external applications, to include SPLUNK, Cold Fusion, SAP and Microsoft Business Intelligence, Windchill, HTML, Tomcat, MS SQL, Oracle, SharePoint, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 products, Data Analytics environment, and MS Access and all other systems listed in Section 13.5.2.
Assist with establishing Cloud/ServiceNow Mid-Server, and integration with SUBMEPP Systems. Efforts will include technical engineering, design, configuration, deployment, optimization, and hardening of new service.
Complete and deliver Development Operations Support tasks as specified by GFI 12.2.20-12.2.30. Development Operations Support includes troubleshooting, research, or urgent API or workflow fixes requiring development support. The requirement is that operations support will be completed in 10 working days or less unless mutually agreed upon by Government and contractor.
Assist Business Analyst in development of requirements when interfacing with other IT systems and applications.
Assist IT system and application development teams in the configuration of external application software workflows, data flows, system to system interfaces, system reports, and data models to successfully integrate with ServiceNow.
Modify Static Content.
Perform pre-deployment testing and checks to ensure engineered solutions meet design specifications and Cyber Security Requirements.
Provide Weekly Metrics Status, Performance and Quality Measures, and Schedule updates.
Ensure current SUBMEPP s system interfaces are updated and functioning properly, to include creation of new interfaces for sunset applications.
Utilize established configuration tools, guidelines, and conventions where applicable. Develop configuration tools, guidelines, and conventions where absent based on DoD and industry norms and best practices, and in compliance with IT Development Standards IAW GFI 12.2.20.
Ensure established and newly developed developer/configuration tools meet DISA STIGs, DOD and SUBMEPP policies and standards.
Assist ServiceNow Lead Developer in maintenance of existing, and develop new documentation that will include, but is not limited to, WP, DoDAF documentation (such as System Architecture Guides and Diagrams), and ensure adherence to organizational templates, policies, and standards.
Assist lead developer in performing root cause analysis of functional outages and incidents, engineer permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation.
Implement technical solutions.
Follow all SUBMEPP Change Management processes as defined in GFI 12.2.50 to ensure changes are completed according to the project schedule.
Develop migration plans for existing services ensuring minimal service interruption.
Assist in creation of CMMI Level 3 Management Plans. Update existing SUBMEPP CMMI Level 3 documentation, GFI 12.2.19-12.2.28, to incorporate contractor s processes. Provide schedules, audit materials, training decks and CMMI Facilitation IAW GFI 12.2.34.
Deliver PDSRs as specified by GFI 12.2.19-12.2.28. Upon award PDSRs will be delivered monthly unless mutually agreed upon by the Government and contractor. A Government and contractor mutually agreed upon delivery schedule will accompany each PDSR.
Ensure all solutions and PDSRs follow published DISA STIGs, and DoD policies and standards as listed on the DISA website.
Review and configure system security complying with guidance, directives, and issuances from the USCYBERCOM, examples of tasking; CTO, TASKORD, OPORD, IAV and other security requirements identified and tracked in the VRAM system, or other provided system.
Ensure engineered solutions are designed to maintain highest availability, ease of sustainability/maintainability, and service dependability.
Create Design Package for each PDSR. Provide updated system documentation, development plans, functional release notes, user manual updates, Window Flow diagrams, Window, Interface and/or report specifications, diagrams, interface specifications, use cases, and help articles.
Perform testing to ensure that developed software or applications meet and comply with documented requirements.

Location: Kittery, ME (The position is full time remote, but will require a 1 week onboarding onsite. The company will pay for the travel.)
Education: Bachelor of science in IT or CompTIA Security Plus
