Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PMO Analyst to support project governance, reporting, and portfolio tracking activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Jira administration, project reporting, dashboard creation, and PMO processes, along with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills to ensure project visibility, stakeholder alignment, and successful delivery of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project tracking, status reporting, and governance activities using Jira to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance Jira dashboards, reports, filters, and KPIs to provide actionable insights to project teams and leadership.
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items while ensuring compliance with PMO standards and methodologies.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and project summaries using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and trend reporting.
  • Coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to collect project updates and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Facilitate project governance activities including status reviews, risk assessments, issue tracking, and escalation management.
  • Support resource tracking, project metrics reporting, and portfolio management activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and project management processes.
  • Ensure project artifacts, documentation, and reporting are maintained according to organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a PMO Analyst, Project Coordinator, Project Analyst, or similar PMO support role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking, reporting, dashboard creation, and workflow management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting project governance, risk management, issue tracking, and status reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise IT projects or PMO organizations.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project portfolio management (PPM) tools and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and preparing management-level presentations.
  • PMP, CAPM, CSM, or related project management certifications are a plus.

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Mechanicsburg, PA
