Job Overview: The Adaptive Business & Financial Analyst will support business strategy and objectives through data-driven analysis, reporting, and financial planning. This role requires a high degree of independence and in-depth knowledge of the business areas supported. The ideal candidate must have Workday Adaptive experience and expertise.
Responsibilities: - Administer Adaptive Planning, including rolling models forward, making pro forma adjustments, revamping dimension imports, cleaning up data, building new models, troubleshooting integration or publishing errors, and creating dashboards.
- Perform data and financial analysis to create actionable, data-driven recommendations impacting business decisions using internal and external data and models.
- Maintain and improve existing periodic reports and develop new reporting methodologies.
- Create meaningful data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and tables, to communicate insights and trends.
- Design business requirements for data architecture and integration, and collaborate with the Technology division to resolve data hygiene issues.
- Coordinate business partner input up to the executive level on revenue and expense drivers, improve complex forecast models, and design new forecast and planning models incorporating key business and financial data.
- Create complex business cases to analyze and justify investment decisions using both business and financial data.
- Partner with management up to the executive level to answer complex analytical financial and business questions.
- Lead components of business partner-led projects and internal projects to improve processes and operations.
Qualifications: - Strong Adaptive Planning support experience, ideally with implementation, model creation, and dashboard expertise.
- Strong mathematical and analytical capacity.
- Knowledge of accounting principles or database principles.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides).
- Advanced skills in Tableau, BigQuery, or SQL, and proficiency in Python and PowerBI.
- Expertise in Workday Accounting and Adaptive Planning software.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Ability to quickly gain an in-depth understanding of new business models.
- Strong understanding of MWG business models.
- Ability to apply AGILE practices, including ScrumMaster methodologies.
Education, Competencies, Certifications/Licenses: - Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5 years of experience in business analytics, finance, accounting, or audit.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma plus 7 years of experience in business analytics, finance, accounting, or audit.
- Strong understanding of MWG business models.

Pay Range: $50- $55
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
