Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Providing strategic guidance and architecture oversight to ensure high software standards and adherence to best practices.
  • Designing scalable, secure, and reliable systems tailored to meet the dynamic needs of the energy sector.
  • Evaluating and selecting technologies to optimize software performance, scalability, and long-term innovation.
  • Partnering with business leaders to translate complex challenges into effective technical requirements.
  • Facilitating clear, cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and executive leadership.
  • Driving continuous improvement in Maintenance and Product Backlog Management by monitoring KPIs and delivery commitments.
  • Monitoring advancements in cloud computing and power systems to provide strategic guidance that maintains a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years in engineering leadership or NPI delivery, specifically within large-scale cloud development
  • 5+ years of expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies

Desired Characteristics
  • Proficiency in data aggregation, analytics tools, and integrated ERP environments.
  • Practical experience with IoT, real-time systems, and digital core systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Asset Health, maintenance, engineering processes, and operations within industrial settings (e.g., LNG, refining, petrochemical, or offshore assets) will be an added advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaborative abilities, with a proven capacity to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $145,400.00 and $242,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
