Role Overview

The Lead Data Architect will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure application architecture aligned with enterprise interoperability initiatives.

This role requires strong experience in FHIR / HL7 interoperability standards, cloud-native architecture, microservices, and modern API ecosystems.

The architect will define technical strategy, guide senior leadership on emerging technologies, and lead cross-functional teams in large-scale transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute architectural strategy aligned with enterprise goals
• Lead architectural initiatives across projects
• Design scalable, secure, high-performing systems
• Ensure adherence to best practices and architectural standards
• Guide modernization and interoperability solutions
• Provide strategic technical vision to leadership

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering / architecture roles
• Strong experience with FHIR & HL7 interoperability standards
• Expertise in non-functional requirements (SLA, performance, real-time systems, scalability, multithreading)
• 5+ years full-stack development experience
• 5+ years working with SQL / NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
• 5+ years experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience in microservices & API design
• Hands-on DevOps tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Kafka
• Strong experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot
• Front-end knowledge: Angular / JavaScript
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs
• Proven leadership & stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise Interoperability Solutions
• Cloud certifications (AWS / Google Cloud Platform / Azure / Salesforce)
• Experience in large-scale legacy-to-modern migrations
