Hardware Technician (Short-Term Contract)

Position Overview
We are seeking Hardware Technicians to support an enterprise IT environment during a surge in hardware support needs. This is a hands-on, onsite role focused on device imaging, deployment, and hardware troubleshooting, with a strong preference for technicians experienced with Dell hardware.
This engagement is ideal for technicians who enjoy fast-paced support work, hardware refreshes, and solving real enduser problems on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Image, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops for end users
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, with particular emphasis on battery diagnostics and replacement
- Support onsite users during device refresh and redeployment activities
- Resolve hardware-related tickets efficiently and professionally
- Follow enterprise IT, security, and asset management standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience as a Hardware Technician, Desktop Support Technician, or IT Support Technician
- Hands-on device imaging experience
- Experience working with Dell laptops and desktops (strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot laptop battery issues
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a structured corporate environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting hardware refresh or migration projects
- Exposure to enterprise help desk or service desk environments
