SAO Instructional Designer

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a SAO Instructional Designer for our premier client in Atlanta, GA.
Education and Experience »
- Bachelor''s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Experience with instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s Level of assessments, adult learning principles)
- Experience with SCORM-compliant course development and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong understanding of 508-compliance requirements and best practices for creating accessible learning materials.
- Proficiency in using Workday for creating, managing, and delivering training programs. Experience in leveraging Workday''s Learning
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Training Needs Assessments and Audience Analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps, training participants, and delivery channels.
- Design, develop and maintains comprehensive, 508-compliant instructional materials, including course summary sheets, learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, video scripts, job aids, quick reference sheets, and other supporting documents for training deliverables.
- Develop and administer a variety of assessments, including quizzes, tests, simulations, and practical exercises, to measure learner progress and comprehension. Analyze assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing learning outcomes.
- Accurately track and document the progress of instructional design projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Utilize project management tools to monitor timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of development efforts.
