Salesforce Devops Developer/Ops Engineer (Developer)

: Candidate must be TS-cleared or willing to undergo security clearance investigation. DD-254 (expected by Fall) will be at the TS/SCI level and consultants may support in the interim while awaiting clearance; partner company must have the ability to sponsor the consultant for a clearance in the Fall 2026 timeframe
Monitors and helps coordinate progress of software release phases by partnering with PM and collaborating with the developers and business analysts.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
Execute hands-on code promotion across DEV, UAT, STG, and PROD sandboxes by leveraging experience with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, artifact versioning, scripting, and automated code/security checks
Create/maintain a continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) strategy
Manage source control
Create/maintain DevOps Operating Guide
Comfortable with making recommendations and enforcing DevOps best practices
Skill and Experience Requirements:
Solid understanding of CI/CD including the ability to design and implement pipelines for the Salesforce Platform
GitHub Actions (workflows, runners, secrets, matrix builds); experience with CI pool orchestration
SFDX artifact publishing, versioning, dependency resolution
Git; trunk-based development; branch protection; code review workflows
PMD for Apex; GitHub CodeQL or equivalent SAST tooling
Bash/Shell; YAML pipeline authoring; familiarity with Node.js tooling
Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata API, packaging, and deployment order management
Multi-org environment strategy; sandbox/scratch org lifecycle; org configuration governance
Secrets management, least-privilege service accounts, deployment audit trails
