Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Workday Adaptive Planning Developer / Consultant with strong hands-on experience designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Workday Adaptive Planning solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance/FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, workforce planning, and Adaptive Planning integrations. This role will work closely with Finance and business stakeholders to develop scalable planning and reporting solutions that support data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience.

• 8+ years of overall IT/ERP experience.

• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and FP&A.

• Hands-on experience configuring:

  • Adaptive Planning models

  • Sheets

  • Dimensions

  • Levels

  • Versions

  • Account structures

• Experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting packages.

• Experience with Workday Adaptive Integration, ETL processes, and data management.

• Strong understanding of Finance, FP&A, and workforce planning processes.

• Experience with Excel and financial modeling.

• Experience supporting planning cycles, including month-end, quarter-end, and annual planning.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support Workday Adaptive Planning solutions.

• Build and maintain planning models, sheets, dimensions, levels, versions, and account structures.

• Develop solutions for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial planning.

• Create reports, dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting solutions.

• Design and support integrations between Adaptive Planning, ERP, HR, and third-party systems.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Adaptive Planning solutions.

• Perform testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Partner with Finance, FP&A, and business stakeholders to improve planning and reporting processes.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and annual planning activities.

Preferred Skills

• Workday Adaptive Planning Certification.

• Workday Financials and/or Workday HCM integration experience.

• Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Enterprise Planning experience.

• Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and integration tools.

• Workday Prism Analytics.

• Power BI or Tableau.

• Adaptive OfficeConnect.

• Cloud Connect integrations.

• Anaplan migration experience.

• Experience working in Agile project environments.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should have strong hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, not just general Workday HCM experience.
