Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, networking, security, governance, and FinOps functions across Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, CI/CD automation, cloud networking, security, governance, infrastructure as code, and cost management. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and security teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, deploy, and support Azure cloud solutions using platform services and infrastructure automation.
· Build and maintain cloud environments using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
· Develop and manage deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
· Support cloud networking components, including virtual networks, routing, DNS, load balancing, and connectivity patterns.
· Apply cloud security and governance best practices across Azure environments.
· Partner with teams to ensure cloud usage aligns with FinOps principles and cost optimization goals.
· Use scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python to automate operational and engineering tasks.
· Troubleshoot and resolve platform, deployment, networking, and application issues in a timely manner.
· Support monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities across cloud workloads.
· Document designs, standards, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, and compliance expectations.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
· Proficiency in IaC tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
· Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
· Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost management.
· Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or Python.
· Experience with cloud networking concepts and Azure networking services.
· Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
· Exposure to containerization technologies such as AKS and Docker.
· Experience with serverless architectures such as Azure Functions or Logic Apps.
· Prior experience supporting security and governance compliance requirements.
· Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
