Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $56,850.00/Yr. - USD $94,750.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Description

The Material Management Specialist will be a member of the Carry-on Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) Logistics team, focusing primarily on all aspects of material procurement, handling and management. The ideal candidate has experience managing, tracking and handling Government Furnished Material. Additionally, high-level communication skills, a customer focused mindset, and a team player mentality are required.
  • Managing and maintaining inventory accuracy using customer directed supply systems, conduct regular wall-to-wall inventories, and perform discrepancy analysis
  • Shipping, receiving, inventorying, and requesting fulfillment of electronic/electrical components
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Serving as the onsite point of contact for material requests
  • Being a self-starting and a team player

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance required
  • Two years of full-time professional experience as a logistician
  • Two years of full-time professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life-Cycle Support areas of the DoD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System
