Job Title: Data Lead – Pharma Domain
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Lead with strong expertise in the pharmaceutical domain to lead data initiatives, analytics, and data engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data platforms, ETL processes, and business intelligence, along with a solid understanding of pharma data such as clinical, regulatory, and commercial datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end data strategy, architecture, and delivery for pharma-related projects.
Manage data engineering and BI teams to build scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions.
Design and implement ETL processes using tools such as Informatica or similar technologies.
Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Work with large-scale datasets in platforms like Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
Collaborate with stakeholders including business, clinical, and regulatory teams.
Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and security standards are met.
Translate business requirements into technical data solutions and insights.
Drive data analysis to support decision-making in clinical trials, drug development, or commercial operations.
Required Skills:
Overall, 12+ years of experience required.
Strong experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and BI tools.
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
Pharma domain experience is required.
Strong understanding of pharma domain data (clinical, RWE, regulatory, or commercial).
Experience leading teams and managing data projects.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of data governance and compliance (HIPAA, FDA regulations).
Exposure to advanced analytics or data science
