Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP QM (Quality Management) Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise in SAP QM. This role is intended for professionals whose primary functional strength is SAP QM, rather than SAP PP. The consultant will support business process design, configuration, integration, and ongoing support for quality management processes in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

The position is fully remote within the U.S. and requires working on our W2 payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support SAP Quality Management (QM) implementations, enhancements, and support projects
• Configure and manage core QM processes including:
• Inspection Planning
• Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspections
• Quality Notifications (Internal, Customer, Vendor)
• Results Recording
• Usage Decision (UD)
• Certificates and Quality Info Records
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP QM solutions
• Strong experience with QM integration with MM, SD, and WM/EWM (PP exposure is acceptable but not the primary focus)
• Support defect management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements and reports
• Assist in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
• Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements
• Participate in documentation, training, and knowledge transfer activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP experience, with major focus on SAP QM
• Strong functional expertise in SAP Quality Management processes and configuration
• Hands-on experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA QM
• Proven experience working in US-based SAP projects
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on W2

Nice to Have:

• S/4HANA QM migration or implementation experience
• Experience in regulated industries (Manufacturing, Pharma, Medical Devices, Automotive, etc.)
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to QM
