Job Title: Mainframe IMS & CICS Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE (5 Days Onsite)
Experience: 8+ Years
Rate: $60/hr
Salary: $110K

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe IMS & CICS Developer with strong hands-on expertise in COBOL and z/OS environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications involving IMS databases and CICS transaction processing systems.

Required Skills:

Strong programming experience in COBOL
In-depth knowledge of z/OS
Hands-on experience with IMS/DB and IMS/DC
Strong working experience in CICS transaction processing
Experience writing and managing JCL for batch jobs
Good understanding of mainframe data set management and security concepts
Experience in application support, maintenance, and enhancements

Must Have:

IMS/DB
CICS
COBOL
JCL

Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL
Work on IMS database design and transaction processing
Support CICS programs and troubleshoot production issues
Create and maintain JCL for batch processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and deployment
