Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer (Azure / Kubernetes / .NET)
Location: Houston, TX (5 Days Onsite – Local Candidates Only)
 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing secure DevOps pipelines, managing Kubernetes platforms, integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle, and supporting cloud-native applications built on Azure and .NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines).
  • Build, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management, and container security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support secure C#/.NET application deployments.
  • Implement container image scanning, runtime protection, and vulnerability management.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, system performance, security, and reliability.
  • Support incident response, compliance, governance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Establish Azure security policies, governance, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in DevOps automation and deployment processes.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud.
  • Expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts).
  • Experience building CI/CD and Continuous Deployment/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of C#/.NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
  • Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and container security.
  • Experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure software development practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Snyk, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Azure IAM, RBAC, and Managed Identities.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Experience with Microservices and API Security.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Security.
  • Azure DevOps, CKA, or CKS certifications are a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proactive mindset with strong ownership.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced Agile environments.
