Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution, from initiation to closure.
2. Ensuring that all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the National Electrical Code and other relevant safety standards.
3. Coordinating and supervising the work of Journeyman Electricians and other team members on various project sites.
4. Managing project resources and timelines, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
5. Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
6. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
7. Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
8. Continually reviewing and updating project plans to reflect changes in requirements or scope.
9. Traveling to various project sites as required, managing on-site activities and ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in an electrical project management role, preferably within the engineering industry.
2. A valid Journeyman Electrician license.
3. Proven experience with data centers, data, power, and electrical construction.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other relevant safety standards.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
7. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to various project sites.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and devise effective solutions.
9. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
