Summary
Job Title: WMS Business Analyst
Location: Baltimore, Maryland, USA
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for WMS enhancements and implementations.
- Work closely with warehouse operations, supply chain, IT, and external vendors to deliver WMS solutions.
- Configure and support Warehouse Management System modules based on business requirements.
- Analyze current warehouse processes and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in WMS implementation, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Create functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, and support issue resolution.
- Train end users on WMS functionality and prepare user documentation.
- Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements.
- Support inventory management, receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and return processes.
- Coordinate with ERP and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work with technical teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs and business processes.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
- Experience with requirements gathering and business analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation and reporting.
- Experience in UAT planning and execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to prepare BRDs, FSDs, process maps, and user documentation.
